Guys, its finally happened. App World is now live in the United Arab Emirates!! I just got an sms from service provider Du, who states:

Great News! BlackBerry App world is now live! Enjoy a world of
exciting applications on your BlackBerry. Click on the App World icon
on your phone or else download by visiting BlackBerry Wallpapers, Ringtones, and More
from your device, or go to BlackBerry - App World - Official Store for BlackBerry Apps from your
computer.
If you don't want to receive tailored offers in the future, kindly
send a blank SMS, for free, to 5293.

This is CRAZY! We've waited so long for this! I'm going to download it now, and bask in the glory that is App World!

Note, guys, that so far, I've heard that only Du has it up and running. Plus, I'm pretty sure that its only available to people with a data plan, which I don't have.

Update: It works over WIFI now! I've downloaded so many apps and themes! What I did was, I went to App World on my PC, signed in, then installed the Browser Plugin and followed the steps...then I disconnected my blackberry and tried it...and it worked!! Thank you RIM!!
