Thread: How to hide a BlackBerry from my parents for 2 days whilst being able to use it?

Hi everyone, Basically my friend has sold me his old blackberry, but my parents don't want me to have one. How do i keep it hidden at home whilst still being able to use it?

As a parent, I can understand why. How old are you? One thing you need to ask yourself is the consequences when your parents do find it. The majority of the time a parent does not want their kids to have a smartphone is due to the expenses involved. If your not careful and have the wrong plan, the expenses can skyrocket very quickly.

I agree with JoshJamie whole heartedly. If you are still under the age of adulthood, your parents rules should be obeyed with little question unless they are dangerous or illegal.

Trust me, its the path of least resistance.

If you are at a mature age + have an allowance or some type of income, I see no issue with having a Blackberry. Maybe sit down with your parents & explain to them...?!?

Jerrold, you have received some great advice from the guys above me. As TwistMyMind pointed out, have a talk with your parents on why and how you would be responsible with a BlackBerry according to their liking. But don't just talk, you will have to show them and earn their trust. As a parent myself I can also see why having a BlackBerry at a young age could be worrisome.
