Thread: Blackberry vs. iPhone: Who Will Win?

We're all obsessed with our cellular phones, so having the most hi-tech phone available is a big deal.

It seems that lately the only two that really matter are the iPhone and the Blackberry. The Blackberry Storm is the iPhone's leading competitor with touch-screen capabilities, and now, a new applications store.

But, which phone has the most loyal customers? I have to lean more toward the Blackberry.....

Most to all of my working colleagues are on the BB wagon and this also includes most in military community.

However why then do other companies tend to want to market/attach/court the iphone? Sirius radio is now looking to partner with the iphone. I would rather Sirius work with both or RIM since more and more BB users are non business users.

I think the iphone is mostly a toy phone. Most business people have BB's not Iphone. I think the iphone is nifty and all but come on, you were the first company to have a touch screen phone and STILL cant even send a simple MMS!!! Oh but you can send it via email etc.And what if the person you are sending that too doesn't have email on their phone? For all the advancements Apple has made, they are far behind on the small things.

I'm all for BB's and everything they have to offer.

I would have to agree

BlackBerry 81xx 82xx 83xx 88xx 8900 9000 95xx 9630 9900 + BIS or BES = nothing to match with a only toy stylish apple one device model phone that cant fit for all users.....

I think that Apple tries to have to much control. I like how the BB can be tweaked by the everyday user.

my thoughts exactly, i would of gotton a blackberry a heck of a lot sooner if i new then what i know now

I was an iphone fan and wanted to buy iphone, until I really spend big time searching the forum for discussion over this BB and iPhone. I decided and already got my Storm now.

To me personally, BB helps a lot for my work. Yes, iPhone is fun. but then I rather buy iPod Touch rather spend my money for the expensive iPhone.

BB App store will definitely a plus, as iPhone strength is simply the app store.

so: professional smart phone is BB, fun gadget...iPodTouch (I don't know where to position the iPhone..really...)

My son has the iphone and he plans on getting the 2nd gen later this year.

He loves it, I just laugh at him with all the toys he has on it.

When it gets laggy on him I tell him to pull the battery For some reason he doesn't find that as funny as I do
