RIM to host Blackberry Developer Conference in Asia on 13 - 14 January 2011 Scott Augustine
Hey, some of our overseas forum users and even our ones on vacation in or around Bali, Indonesia, you might want to swing in and get a look or even hands on the blackberry playbook, this conference will feature over 40 keynote speakers including, Gregory Wade -Managing Director, Southeast Asia, Tyler Lessard - Vice President, Global Alliances and Developer Relations, Mike Kirkup - Director, Developer Relations, Chris Smith - Senior Director, Blackberry Developer Platform. Attendees will gain insight into developing apps for the new playbook , see how Web Works for blackberry will make apps work from Smartphone’s to tablets, find out about the new commercial services offered by blackberry such as Blackberry Payment Services. You will also be able to get technical info on all platforms of app. tools used from java, web works, and playbook from RIM development experts , If you do get to go be sure to take some pics, get some spec, and share some knowledge.
RIM To Host The First Pan-Asian BlackBerry Developer
The conference, announced by RIM is slated for January 13th and 14th, 2011 in Bali, Indonesia.
Attendees of the conference will have the opportunity to join over 40 keynote, breakout and hands-on sessions showcasing how developers can use various tools and services to create innovative and commercially successful applications for the BlackBerry platform. Attendees will also get a chance to hear from many RIM technical experts as well as a variety of developers who are already creating apps for BlackBerry® smartphones.

If you happen in be to be in Bali in the middle of January, this sounds like a wonderful conference to attend. Just bring your umbrella, January is one of their rainiest months and it lands in the middle of the monsoon season. I for one will stay in the states and hope great things come from this conference.
