First images of The Storm 2!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is why us Storm users do not get any love. A week ago I confirmed that the Storm 2 had been out of production and already being tested. Well, Kevin over at Crackberry.com has gotten his hands on a leaked picture (Im sure you can all guess by who because of the pants and same view) of the Storm 2.

You can tell by this picture that the Storm 2 is a lot thinner then the first Storm. The buttons are now touch sensitive, which Im not sure I will like. Check out the rest of the pictures of it.

While the person who leaks these pictures to Kevin can not state what his job is, I'm pretty sure he sneaks this pictures since all the ones he leaks are taken inside his driver side car ha.

I see the buttons are no longer chrome and what is that port on the bottom rt side...hmmm

Very interesting. I'm still judging if I like or dislike the lack of physical buttons (saw the same type of thing on the Gemini). Thinner is probably better. Honestly kinda burned that this may come out before the GC from storm I. Oh well at least there will be several months of BBC hybrid bliss.

thats not a port thats where you put that strap so that you can twirl the hell out of this storm because you dont have a freakin slider key board or buttons to press........

That is one small charging port. Looks smaller than a micro USB and it looks more like a lanyard strap hole thing. Also, is the back not on this phone or is it just me? :dunno:

Are you sure it's not the earphone jack. That would be in the same position it is now.

It looks nice. I think the buttons under glass is cool. JL is right the top one looks like the earphone port.
The little bottom one has to be the new micro mini super HDMI in/out port!

I agree this thing looks bad ass. I especially like the keys under the glass. If they fixed the keyboard as reported I will def be getting the Storm 2.

Yeah I was all but just about to write off my phone and get the 9630 for me and my wife, but that all changed when I saw these pix. It may be worth the 2 month wait to see this puppy. Rumors are july 13th for the Tour, and sometime in Sept for the Storm. Now I'm very confused, lol.

Personally it's the storm for me. If I wanted a qwerty phone I just would have stayed with my good ole curve.

Yeah I don't know if I can pull off 2 new phones, but I have been getting more frustrated with typos lately, so it got me missing my old curve's keyboard, lol. I think I will use every ounce of self control that I have not to be the first kid on my block to have a new Tour, but to be the first to have a Storm with wifi, lol.

I like the idea of the thinner unit and the lack of buttons never really bothered me so I may try one when they hit the stores.
