There is no pressing anymore it will be touch sensitive just as typing on the iPhone. There will not be anymore clicking to it. RIM is had made two diff prototypes to my knowledge the touch press with no haptic feedback and one with haptic feedback. Which one will make it to market depends on probably the same thought process that put .65 on Storm 1
But they also said that its like pressing the screen instead of tapping. So there would still would be the need for buttons then? Just "another" thought lol

I don't know about the idea "like the iphone." CX said that it won't be like the iphone, because the true press technology is different????? but I have no idea....I guess until it comes

I can't vouch for it myself since I have not seen it personally but one of my engineers is working with RIM right now on something totally unrelated to the Storm. Anyway he was in with a few other engineers when they busted out the prototypes. He said there is no clicking anymore, it is touch sensitive. Once again these are just prototypes so everything is subject to change.

Thought someone mentioned TruePress as like pressing the screen, no click or tap? That would be sweet IF they have and OS to go with it

From what I was told it will be more of tap than a click. But as Olta stated we can try and guess the final design for months. But time and of course more leaked shots will tell.

True...cause what if what they have now doesn't work so well, they will change it....and that can go on for a while I really do hope they get it right.... I don't mind the click, it's dust issues that really bother me. I wish they made the gap way smaller or at least sealed it with some thin rubber (like the ipod--sorry didn't mean to bring it up, but it is sealed well)
