And The Clear Winner at DevCon 2010 Is…

All I can say is that’s one sexy device and I am looking forward to getting one myself when that bad boy hits the street early next year. Even though this is a huge achievement for Research In Motion, this is not the biggest or best news to come out of the BlackBerry Developers Conference.

By far the single thing that clearly stands out from everything announced or shown yesterday is the new QNX based operating system that will be launching on the BlackBerry Playbook. I have talked about QNX before and mentioned how I think it will propel RIM with future devices.

Now imagine this, you take the PlayBook and everything that is inside currently, and shrink it down to a screen size of about 3.7 inches, then you throw in a 3G/4G radio. Then to create a kick *** operating system with a next generation UI, all based and powered by QNX. You then have yourself something that may resemble the next generation BlackBerry Storm. This next generation operating system is the future of RIM and for devices that follow the BlackBerry PlayBook. This is RIM’s clear answer to iPhone and Android devices.

Who’s excited to see what RIM will come up with in the near future?

By all means...bring it!!! RIM has my attention again, but they to move quick. Android is still looking very good...mainly because I can have one today if I wanted it.

Probably not going to be released soon. It isn't clear when the carriers have gotten the OS, and its typically during carrier testing that those leak.

How is RIM releasing a Theme Studio for OS 6 a slap in the face? This was something all Torch owners were clammoring for. Were you hoping for OS 5 compatibility with Theme Studio 6? Maybe in a later update but we'll see.

RIM has mine as well but need to see something come out that is bug free and feature rich with solid operation.

Well for one is that practice makes perfect
i had the same problem when i was a kid and here is what i did.....i tried 2 things and they both worked for me...

one is to shoot the ball at a lower level like if you are aiming for the back of the rim do not lob the shoot, straight shoot it and see what that does for you...

the other is that when you shoot the ball elevate the shot a bit higher (lob it higher)

they both worked for me straight shots when close to the basket and elevated shot when further away from the basket...
