Shocker LOL.
Thanks for the info as always Cruz
I'm really starting to believe that the problem lies with RIM at this point. Here's an idea...have VZW contact BBcrack and test his hybrid. That should pass fine!at:
From my experience, the problem is usually what you think isn't the problem...NEOLANTIS
BBC v5 Passes!!!! send that to VZW :fing02:
Actually, given the lock and quick launch issues, I think VZW made the correct move if they have, in fact, nixed it. I know everyone's experience differs wildly with these operating systems but I'm still finding .132 to be extremely solid with none of the issues associated with .141
Several of the hybrids appear to be great alternatives for those who want to experiment.
Thanks for the info!
any reason y:bsflag:
the BB movement.... yes sir.
Guess ill just have to load old skool DOS:banana:
typical.
i would turn it all in for late nights and impossible dreams.
Ha! LOL! Or even older school - Radio Shack TRS-1 LDOS !!!!
Ive got an old 386 sitting in my garage!!!!(if any of you can remember what that is)
I have a Commador64 in my attic!!!
NICE!!!! lol
.186 failed testing with Telus so not all surprised to hear that .141 is being dumped into the Hudson river. There are even rumors that .191 will not pass carrier validation. So where does the problem lie? Is it all of sudden VZWs standard have increased (.65 enough said) or is that RIM just can't get their act together or both. It's too bad for the average person as not a lot of people know forums like these exist. Can you imagine still being on .75 :firedevil:
As Toy said earlier in this thread there are good leaked OS's like .132 so thank goodness for those. But really these two companies need to get their shit together and work out at least a half decent gold code.
I've got a Sinclaire I built and two sleeves of memory chips for that Trash-Model1 sitting in a junk box somewhere. Also have the original Pong game.
Boxes and boxes of 5 1/4 inch floppy media on the shelf...and a few shoeboxes filled with punch cards and paper tapes from college! (I'm OLD!)
I personally think they are done with working on the Storm OS. I know the Storm 2 is out of design stage and is being tested and I believe they are now going to be focusing on perfecting the Storm 2. We will still have our fair share of leaks though for the Storm.
