$3.00 off TalkLock for 30 days!

I received this e-mail from the makers of TalkLock, CellAvant.com

    Dear TalkLock(TM) Beta User,

In this email is a $3.00 discount on our new all-in-one touch screen/device lock for your Storm, called SwipeLock(TM). Thank you for your use and feedback on our Beta version of TalkLock!

SwipeLock has all of the features of TalkLock, plus it enables you to:

    • Fully-configure your settings - enter "white list" phone numbers that will not activate the screen lock, set a screen lock delay for incoming and/or outgoing calls.
    • Quickly lock your whole device and unlock using a unique finger swipe pattern on the touch screen - faster and easier than typing an alphanumeric password!
    • Put your device in Standby Mode to save battery and prevent screen touches and button presses.

Click HERE for a *free* SwipeLock trial.

Beyond the trial period, SwipeLock sells for a one-time charge of $6.99. As a way of saying Thank You for being a TalkLock Beta user, here is your one-time use discount code for $3.00 off of the purchase price.

    6Z1NUECNXZ

To redeem your discount, simply visit shop.cellavant.com from your PC and enter this code when you purchase SwipeLock. This discount code is valid for 30 days.

    Kind Regards,
    CellAvant, Inc.

Nice post BBOS. I prefer pattern lock but I'm sure this will make a lot of people happy.

I was reading the thread earlier today and it seemed the only complaint was the price. 6.99 is rather steep lol.

Thanks for the heads up

The problem I had with talklock was that it was a major memory leak for me so I ditched it. But there are certainly a lot of people that like it. I remember not too long ago when that app was free. Now they want $6.99 for it lol

The new storm lock is kinda buggy with me. I'll end a call and it will keep that locked screen up after the call for about 10 seconds and I can still move to different menus while its still up. I don't like that feature.

The other thing I don't like about Storm Lock. If youre phone is locked and someone calls you, Storm Lock won't activate.

Wow I never had any of those issues with Storm lock. Man it frustrates me to no end how all these apps work differently on our storms :angryfire:

Wait a second did you say new storm lock? Has there been an update LOL

Have you tried pattern lock? Would you give that a shot?

Do you use patternlock during phone calls? How does it do? It might be time for me to delete stormlock since I have both on my phone.

Yeah it works just like storm lock but without the bugs. It literally has over a dozen options for customization purposes. It works great during phone calls. I have it set to enable call screen lock immediately But you have the option to turn it off altogether during a call or delay the screen lock for up to 30 seconds once a call has been placed.

Talk Lock has worked well for me, as I simply want an app to lock the screen during a call....also easy to unlock during call to access phone if needed..

however the mention above about TL being a memory leak hog will have me looking around......

not sure I should go with Pattern Lock as my short term memory loss may leave me stranded unable to use my phone...:18:

I'm still using the free version of Talk Lock and it does what it supposed to do quite well....

I've been trying to chase down some of the memory leaks though, so I'm not sure if I want to remove just to pick up a mb of memory here or there....

The free version was a leaker for some and not for others. If it doesn't bother you then I would just leave it
