Ya canny beat a good leak! :fing02:
In the world of personal electronic devices, applications and services are King. RIM has fallen behind in delivering those items to its customers and has pretty much promised more than it can deliver. At least Apple and Droid have quashed the market with "bling" items that the customer wants or needs and RIM has fallen way short of delivering that type of thing to its customer base. Browser speed notwithstanding, there have been many issues with the operating systems, reliability and customer service that many people expect from a provider. You might say " its not RIMs fault, the carriers are blocking the way for most of the things you want", but it is, by and large the fault of RIM and its reluctance to be flexible that is making the Blackberry comparable to the PC versus the Mac.
If RIM were to follow the postings on the forums (whether here or elsewhere) they would know their customers were unhappy with the services provided, but it seems they are not interested as long as there are units being sold.
Not a good business trend, IMHO.
Have you ever wondered why things intended to make our lives simpler keep getting more complicated to use?
I have been a BB user since I got my first 957 on CIngular have had every bb in the mix,
Currently on a storm 2 and yes i have had a storm 1, to date i have been happy with BB but ever since June 2010 my love for the BB has been fading. Reasons......OS it not what it used to be, there are better and faster OS's out there and RIM for me at least has failed to keep up. They have or had a strong hold on COrp email but everything else on the phone is just mediocre at best. THis is my second Storm and I have been sitting and waiting for OS6 and while everyone seems to be passing them by. And when that last vid was released a few days ago I finally said F it, and ordered a VZ Droid X.
I think somwhere along the line RIm dropped the ball

The Blackberry is dead, they are losing market share buy the second. I used to have a Storm and a Storm2... definitely the worst phones I have EVER had. Android FTW!

Haha, Android fanboy chants don't work around here.We can already install half of the current Android apps on our BlackBerry PlayBook, and expect to be able to install and run many more with BlackBerry 10. Every Android fanboy I've shown my BB10 Dev Alpha device too, drools over it.
Android = zzzzzzz....

TBH I think one problem is that people have BBs and don't do any maintenance on them. All it takes is a few mins a week.
Ive just seen an old 8520 that has previously run superbly with over 100MBs of memory. Now Whatsapp is being used and the memory has dropped to 68MBs....so I have to wonder about Whatsapp too. A lot of people are using that now. Might that be a reason for all the freezing problems recently? Maybe worth a thought.

Definitely one reason. However, I won't deny that BlackBerry was lacking in some areas; mainly apps, ff camera, boot time, and a few other issues. The nice thing is, BlackBerry 10 will eliminate all of those weaknesses as well as leapfrog the competition in OS innovation.
