I know for a fact that there will be a device with the Javelin form factor that has a keyboard, and a touchscreen!! I got some inside info from a gentleman last year while on vacation in the Caymans. I believe it is the "Magnum", but I am not sure. I would definitely like to see another version of the Storm drop as well, especially with wifi, and one that will work on AT&T's 3G network as well. Which was supposed to be out in Feburary, but has been delayed, of course, lol. This year and next are going to be great for RIM and new devices. You will soon see

The Magnum rumor started in Oct 2008, supposed to be revealed at WES this month. Don't hold you breath...

No, the device your talking about is the "pluto". looks like a Bold, but has a touch screen. The magnum is just a 3g 8900.

I believe the "pluto" was the 9900 model, i believe that got scratched (dont hold that to me), but there is a 99xx series which is believed to be touch and full qwerty keyboard. They could have also changed the name from Magnum to Pluto or Pluto to Magnum, you have to remember its only a code name. The Niagara was only a codename, now they are going to release it as the Tour. The storm is the only BlackBerry to keep its codename.

The magnum is the GSM/HSPDA version of the 8900. The pluto is the bold touchscreen. i dont know if the link i put into my last post mase it, lol. I forgot it and had to edit it in, lol. And your probably right, they always change the names, lol.

they actually changed the storms name too, lol. It was leaked as the thunder

Alright, I just did some research. the 9900 is known as the pluto and the magnum. Bold with a touchscreen. it was also the post that was out where the image looked photochopped.

Now that I look at it more, it looks like a bold with the storm screen blended into it.

It kinda does look like a storm screen, but doesnt look like a click screen, but the pics are to fuzzy to tell

ya it looks like the bold keyboard with the 8900 center button thingys (send, menu, clr, end keys) with storm houseing. and 8900 screen with touch and looks kinda weird without the good ol trackball

well it was a good idea...i cant tell you how many times i use my bold or curve and go to touch the screen to select something lol i feel like a retard but it would be a nice phonee
