Thumbs up User reviews go live on Verizon's website

Verizon was testing a User Review feature on their Testman site, and starting today it has gone live on the main Verizon site. First you have to log into your My Verizon account and select the phone you wish to review. (Sorry, but you have to be a Verizon customer.) The review page allows you to select 1-5 stars for Ease of Use, Display, Features, and Battery Life. You can then type in the phone's Pros, Cons, and Comments, followed your nickname and location. Once it's submitted, it says the reviews are manually approved, so it can take up to two days before it shows up on the site. Overall, this is a good idea, and we're glad to see that Verizon has finally allowed customers to review and rate its products on their site...but you can still do that here, and without a 2 day approval.

This phone WILL be the absolute hottest phone available on the market when it hits maturity. It will have full qwerty keyboard in portrait, an excelent cut and paste feature, lightning fast browser, very fast typing with very accurate spell check, quick transition from portrait to landscape, plus so many many more features that are not on the phone right now. Dont be sucked in the IToy that is unless you want a toy. This is a serious work horse and great for play time too, Watch the attached youtube video from last Oct. showing how the storm should function, and it will given some time. YouTube - RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530 for Verizon demo or type RIM BlackBerry Storm 9530 for Verizon demo in youtube If you are thinking about getting a storm do it but be patient, guarantee it wont be as slow as it is now. Great Great Phone of the Future, Comeon Verizon Update me.

    Pros:
The best feature of this phone will be in future operating system upgrades

    Cons:
No upgraded operating system in the last 4 months from Verizon

SoSo who thinks it will get posted and who thinks VZW will nix it.

As far as the phone there is not a lot negative (of course i say that as one of what maybe 2-4% of storm owners that have higher than a .75 operating system :nana, but i bet you are correct there will be alot of bashing that wont get posted. Serious negative comments will most likely be the majority

Not sure if Verizon is ready for all the response they are going to receive on this. Though I'm willing to brt it won't all be bad just due to the fact that a lot of users don't know any different.

I dropped a review on there. No bashing involved. I really have enjoyed using my phone. Once people get into the forums and learn how the hell to get past a lot of the glitches, they will gain respect for the Storm. This thing is capable of a lot and it will only get better as the software updates come out. Storm FTW!
