Has anyone had any experience with Wirefly? What is the downside to using a company like this vs going directly to Verizon? I am not sure what to do, I just made it to my 1 year anniversary with Verizon so I am eligible for an upgrade but not as good of a deal as this Wirefly. I am just wondering what the catch is. When you click on the 2 year extension price with Wirefly the deal is not as good and then I guess my question is does that add 2years to my existing 1 year remaining so I actually would end up with a 3 year contract? So many questions, I could use some advice!!!

I have read some posts on other sites (Crackberry.com) and I think I am going to shy away from the deal. I have to admit I was ready to go for the deal on the Storm 2 with a 2 year agreement. It sounds like alot of people have had issues. Like, Wirefly does not permit you to make any changes to your plan for the 2 years or they will bill you the full price for the device. Some people have had issues with charges on their accounts, etc.
Not sure the exact circumstances that these people were in but it is enough for me to say no thanks. Good Luck!

wirefly
i also heard that if you buy devices from non carrier specific stores you HAVE to deal with them (not verizon for example) for warranties and problems with the handheld..
just what i heard from the best buy guys.

Runaway
Yes I have. You must follow stipulations to the exactness or expect to pay full price. Another words expect to pay full price. They won't let you submit their paperwork until like 6 weeks or longer (I can't remember) but it has to be turned in no later than..... RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!:aargh4:

I asked a VZW rep about this and they said no insurance through them and the warranty is void. Im going through Verizon, although, its all a huge scam to get our money. I would rather deal with a company that has employees I can talk to in person if I have an issue. A voice over the phone is BS.
