I like the Storm exactly how it is. I don't know why so many people hate them oh so much. Give me a good enough OS and call it a day. Did i mention I MY STORM!!
Actually thats some rumors for the 99xx series or also the rumored 9900 Pluto

As far as the storm 2, granted it looks extremely close to what the orginal storm does, but with some updated features and maybe a improvement on the click screen, i would definately jump on board. I'd just like to see one that had a good memory management system and maybe a little smoother operating system. Also the option to store apps to the Removable media card. Wifi is either way. It won't be a deal breaker.
So far i've had extremely good luck with my storm. The first one was a little bad on the click and the dust, but the 2nd one that i've gotten has been a trooper thus far. With the current V 3.5 that i'm running, it's feeling like a pretty solid phone. Much better than what my pearl was.
So i guess when it boils down to it, I'll probably jump on the storm 2 when it's released, even if i have to pay full retail.
You gotta pay to play.
like it, would certainly look at it
Blackberry will lose!! it looks likes the old Tmobile MDA... L
Although I would look at it, I don't think I would want it, not with that look.
I am intrigued by anything new. The first thing that comes to mind by the picture, which hopefully is a older design, is what someone else has brought up already is there are phones out that look like this already. I would hope that RIM does not go this route.
When the Envy first came out, I really liked that style. I waited, and picked up the Voyager. I really enjoyed the phone for its full keyboard...but that was it. It was bulky, & you really couldn't use the browser without swearing to yourself...
So now with the Storm we have, I really didn't know if I would like it or not, but 5 months later I really do. I have gotten used to the touch screen, browser, and all the little apps that come with it.
The cool thing about the phone is how much you really can do with it...and after that how much you can tinker with it makes it fun for people like me.
Even if you hate the storm and even if you hate the design from the OP, you really have to look at it logically and think that it probably won't be released working like the Glide, even if it does have that look.
Some positive thoughts:
It should come with the 5.0 OS, touch screen, maybe they will keep the clicking screen (which makes it a Storm), and who knows what else they have invented.
Only time will tell but I can't imagine that the Storm 2 will be a disappointment after the fiasco when the original was released.
I think it won't look anything like that drawing.
