Blackberry will lose!! it looks likes the old Tmobile MDA... L
Although I would look at it, I don't think I would want it, not with that look.
I am intrigued by anything new. The first thing that comes to mind by the picture, which hopefully is a older design, is what someone else has brought up already is there are phones out that look like this already. I would hope that RIM does not go this route.
When the Envy first came out, I really liked that style. I waited, and picked up the Voyager. I really enjoyed the phone for its full keyboard...but that was it. It was bulky, & you really couldn't use the browser without swearing to yourself...
So now with the Storm we have, I really didn't know if I would like it or not, but 5 months later I really do. I have gotten used to the touch screen, browser, and all the little apps that come with it.
The cool thing about the phone is how much you really can do with it...and after that how much you can tinker with it makes it fun for people like me.
Even if you hate the storm and even if you hate the design from the OP, you really have to look at it logically and think that it probably won't be released working like the Glide, even if it does have that look.
Some positive thoughts:
It should come with the 5.0 OS, touch screen, maybe they will keep the clicking screen (which makes it a Storm), and who knows what else they have invented.
Only time will tell but I can't imagine that the Storm 2 will be a disappointment after the fiasco when the original was released.
I think it won't look anything like that drawing.

I hate it lol, i like the touch screen keyboard, plus it looks way to big with the slide out keyboard . . .
I had the Helio Ocean, a dual slide phone. Thought it was pretty cool when I got it. After about a month, I really disliked it. Found the sliding thing way too over-rated, and more of a bother than anything else. After a couple months using it, I realized I looked like a high school kid texting with the phone mom and dad bought me. Didn't like that feeling at all.
if the storm 2 comes out and looks like that i wouldnt even go near it. if RIM does this for real i think ill jump ship to a jesus phone. no way do i want to even be associated with a joke of a device like that.
I'm guessing thats a trackball on the outside. I would probably have to see it up close ... but if it were bulky with the slideout keyboard I would definitely not get it. Also if it took forever for official updates to come out, I wouldn't be quick to get it either.
Why why why! All us loyal RIM users want a true "iPhone Killer" ultra mega phone. This looks like a G1 ripoff. Who would buy this? Not I!
I believe it is too early to tell but I agree that it most likely wont look anything like thatI think it won't look anything like that drawing.
Hell to the no.
Reminds me a HTC, dont like at all.
I pray to the RIM gods this is not a final design or at least not the design for Storm 2. If it is I will need the airplane sick bag please.
I would *definitely* go iPhone at that point. No questions asked. I got this phone because I want touch-screen. I don't want physical keyboard. If I wanted that, I would have gotten the Curve.
But look at the date of the patent.. 2006 or something... I doubt it's that of the Storm 2. This thread just adds to hysteria about the device....

I think they should leave the basics of the storm intact, like the body, etc. Ramp up the memory, processor speed, graphics and just add the damn wifi for piss sake, lol.
