Thread: New BBM group calendar

Has anybody used or played with the new version of BBM's groups yet? Or more specifically the calendar within the group? I am noticing the default settings arent saving for the calendar. And another thing I'm noticing is that when I attempt to share an event scheduled on my regular calendar as an all day event, it will put it in the groups calendar for that day and the next day. If the event on my regular calendar has a set start and end time, it has no problem, but an all day event on regular calendar has issues when sharing. I notice it when viewing my standard calendar. I'm attempting to set a group for me and my wife so we can share a common calendar, but if this is going to be fubarred as far as adding the event to the next day it's going to be impossible. Anybody found a work around?

Haven't got into the calendar functions yet but I'm sticking with 53 on the Tour. My calendar is critical, did the regular calendar on your 230 build function correctly?

The calendar on .230 works with no issues

Yes, the calendar runs great, but if you start a group within the new BBM, and look under the calendar for the group. Goto a date on your regular OS calendar and find an entry that is check all day event. Hit bb button, and share with group. Once youve shared that event with the group, it will show the event in that day on the regular calendar, and the next day. The regular OS calendar is fine if you dont share any all day events with a group in messenger.

i havent really played around with the groups much as they kill my phone but when i was in a group i noticed the same thing i saw my calendar entry on the correct day and again the following day... oh and im still on 4.7

I have had this happen with Facebook Bdays. I keep forgetting to trouble shoot it to see why it shows on two days instead of the one day its supposed to be on. SO I don't think its the group calendars only.
