    AFAIK you still need OS5 to integrate SMS into BBM. There was a lot of hope otherwise but it seems BBM5 essentially mirrors the threaded SMS that is already part of the higher OS5 builds.
    If anyone finds out otherwise let me know so I don't misguide anyone.

    Its not all that funny.. people can be wrong but when your source tells you something you have to believe them... not a huge deal to me.. at least we got BBM 5.0 and hey whos to say that this was rims way of sealing up some leaks? because it worked...

    It's awesome, eh? 7/10/09 is October 7, 2009 (d/m/y)

    The new Group feature is really slick!

    The SMS integration seems to only be for contacts who are also Blackberry Messenger contacts. It's so great to finally have BBM 5 on a 5.0 OS! :hail:

    I had that issue too Michael. One thing you can do to increase battery life is to remove yourself from any Blackberry Groups. Since that is running non-stop it will inevitably roast your batter life.
