Thread: BBM 5.0 launching October 7th?

Im very doubtful of this being released today, I would think it would have leaked prior to the official release like.....the OS's, Desktop Manager5.0, Desktop Manager for Mac...etc

So, i'm going to move off topic just a bit this is why i love this site, I was over at cb and was reading the comments on the BBM 5.0 link (see below) if you want a great laugh start reading the comments, start at the 1st and go down after about 5 or so comments it goes way and i mean way off subject... I'm just saying if you want a good giggle read the comments (or bashing)

im a little skeptical about this after downloading the 5.0 simulator an that still has 4.7 you would of thought that it would of had some sort of 5.0 build in it. and with it being after 7pm would make me believe its bs .

I think there still might be a chance that it will drop today. If you remember Facebook 1.6 was dropped at 9PM PST, and since it is only 4pm EST, there is still plenty of time before I will give up .

Care to share the email....the source, TO, FROM etc...

Not saying the info is bad, but you can't call that verified....unless it was sent directly to you by RIM, in which case, where's the to and from?

Actually you would need to ask Keven at CB that question.. He is the one that originally posted this.. we just used it as our source.. No need for accusations and even if it was ours chances are there would be no TO or FROM shown as that is how people lose jobs..

I guess in short I am not being mean just think that if you want to make an accusation maybe you should do it against the people that claim the info.

I think the natives are getting restless.

And to be fair to everyone, this information has spread like wildfire, on BBOS and elsewhere. We are provided with information and we let our members know. Hopefully our information is correct. If not, everyone else on the web was wrong too.

WHOA.....

I did not mean to accuse anyone here of anything....sorry if it came across that way....

I was just pointing out the fact that a memo that anyone with MS Office and a decent contact list can make, is not verified info.
