Thread: BBM 5.0 and 5.0.230 Hybrid

Okay, I know we're all aware that BBM 5 doesn't play nice with .191/.230. But I figured I'd give it a shot anyways, since I can't live without my Messenger.

It installs perfectly, with no error. Even a reinstall will find it and give the normal prompts to replace the existing. So it's there. Somewhere!

Any one with some good skills (um, a callout to BBCrackman, and Lyricidal, and the likes...????) feel like digging to find out HOW to bring that darn app to the surface (in short, find the icon) so we can attempt to work out bugs from there???? Anyone?

It just won't work unfortunately

There is a version in testing that is compatible but is extremely buggy. The current version will not work, there have been countless hours invested in trying. You can install themes on your device for instance that are not compatible and they will download, just won't actually show up. I feel your pain though

i feel your pain but i got along w/o it cause i put 4.7 back on the phone until 5.0 works

Do you not have any version of BBM installed on your device? You know you can use BBM 4.7 with .230 right?
