I had issues getting loader to recognize 4.7 b/c I used BBSAK to push the OS to the phone with 191 and now I am experiencing the same thing with .230. My way around it with .191 was to load the OTA and I was fine. Now I can't find a working OTA anyplace. Even Lyr's All Download for Desktop file doesn't have it in it.
So does anyone have a working OTA link?

Yeah.. the 4.7 and only the 4.7 doesnt work off the ::bbos:: list for Lyrs site. It comes back as HTTP Error 504: Gateway Timeout.Quote:

I have a feeling with the recent RIM requests to remove things the 4.7 went with it. Since most ppl can get it from an install of their OS its not a big deal.
Are you able to run you device through Desktop Manager or AppLoader.exe and navigate to the configuration screen. If so, you might try and reinstall version 4.7.
Once in the configuration screen, you should be given an option to install the BBM 4.7 version. Once the box has been checked, the DM/AppLoader should then read install.
Finish the application and verify that BBM has been installed onto your device.

Thanks for the try MePascal, but I can run Device Manager 4.7, 5.0, loader, and it just refuses to see 191 or 230 for some strange reason (If im disconnected from the net it sees nothing, and if i am connected it only offers me the 3 std builds that Verizon offers). The only way I can get it to recognize the software is if I tell it I want to downgrade, otherwise it tells me there is nothing available for update. BBM shows up there for install, but it won't let you uncheck the downgrade of tools.
I guess I just need to wait until I can find an OTA. When installing through the apploader originally with BBSAK it didn't offer me the choice to reinstall 4.7 which was already on the phone so I am not 100% sure what I am missing.. but after 8 hours of playing with it I need to give up for now.
just to let you know from my experience......there is NO OTA that is going to work!!!!!!!!!!!!! the only way i could get it back was to make sure i had no BBM on my phone and load a new OS onto it again making sure to add bbm 4.7 back when the option came up of what was upgrading or downgrading. Make sure it says install after you have clicked on the box. Don't listen to the hype of OTA 4.7 for OS 5.0 because it doesn't work. If it didn't let you install it through bbsak then try installing the same stuff through apploader or shrink-a-OS

Just for the record - I successfully did this OTA with 191 - so it is possible for folks disbelieving.
Thank you for the direct link. When I goto applications and then goto the ALX file I get an error saying that this item is not compatible with your device?
But that load method looks like it will work, I will see if I can find another.
Edit I just realized that the folders say 4.7.1.. if i remember thats for the tour. Thanks though.
Just thought I would again update folks, while I did not find a 4.7.0 OTA or Download of BBM, I read Crucial's post over on Crackberry about searching for and destroying VENDOR.XML (even in hidden locations). It really works :) Thanks to that I was able to install 4.7.0 from my Desktop Manager like I was supposed to.
