Thread: Help with BBM on 8330

this guy tried downloading a new bbm to my curve...well, in doing so he deleted my old bbm and now i dont have bbm at all...can someone help me out?

Just make sure bbm is deleted off your bb and plug it into your pc. Then run app loader and you should see bbm on your list of apps. Check mark it and it will reinstall it. This is assuming you have the current os that is on your phone installed on your pc is as well?

Download old BBM by clicking here from your BB browser: Old BBM for 4.5

thanks! question though, how do i back-up my phone? i'm kind of paranoid and don't want to lose anything...

i clicked on the link that was posted for the bbm but i still dont get on icon for the bbm

Did you do it from your phones browser? if not copy the link and email it to your phone

yeah i do :/ i even re-downloaded it again and rebooted the phone and still nothing...

When you go options>advancedoptions>applications> is there a bbm in there?>

how many one or two? and if you highlight it click bbkey, what does it say 4.5 or 5.0?

one and 4.7

do you want bbm 5.0 or the one for your device? and if you want the orginal for your device please tell me what os you are running

yeah...the link i download said for a 4.5 but it was a 4.7...why, whats wrong?

i want the original for my device and how do i find the os?

ok delete the one from your phones application list... delete any BBM's installed on the pc, Open desktopmanager>applicationloader>updatesoftware>Op tions>it should auto select anything on the phone already, and you will have to check BBM, if you have not I would back up your phone first. To do that open Desktop manager>backup/restore>backup>voila
