Thread: Discuss: FaceBook Version 3.1.0.17 Now Available In BlackBerry App World

FaceBook for BlackBerry has made its way out of the Beta Zone and into App World. FaceBook has been refined in the Beta Zone over the past month and is now ready for prime time. Version 3.1.0.17 adds two new features groups and the ability to “Like” individual comments. Make sure you head on over to BlackBerry App World and get this update.

Mine Phone Says update available it usually Gives me That Little Emblem on my Home Screen I Swear Ever Since I Tried Loading 7.1 off of Here My Phone's Been acting Wierd So I Reloaded the Latest AT&T 7.0 and Facebook Still won't update

Most users including myself encountered issues with this update. Change logs show that you will now be able to view the Groups and able to like a Comment. However, after completing the update, nothing was changed and it just went back to the old school Facebook app that does not have the Groups Icon and unable to like a comment. I did that a couple times but still to no avail so I decided to go back to the Beta version in which I believe a better version.

I have to agree with ToraxCefiro,

I have used both Facebook for BlackBerry Official version 3.1.0.17, and Facebook Beta version 3.1.0.17 (available from BlackBerry Beta Zone), and both are very good releases, but the main issue(s) outstanding seems to be the lack of Groups and "Like" showing on the Official release.

That was 6 days ago.

So, in conclusion, I have returned to Facebook for BlackBerry v3.1.0.17 beta release, and all has been well, with Groups and "Like" features showing with no issues whatsoever.
