The recent BIS outage has pushed many projects and release dates back. One of them was the experected Beta Zone release of Twitter 2.1. Well today, we've been notified that Twitter 2.1 is available for all Beta Zone members. So if you would like to test it out head on over to www.blackberry.com/beta and sign up!

New features like adding multiple accounts..I think up to 5 accounts.Although I got it from Beta Zone,It didn't ask me to enter a key code which is weird for me:rolleyes:
No key code needed here either. I was still logged in too.
Suffering from some lags :(
I'm not seeing any lags but I'm not too cool with it checking for new tweets every 5 minutes even though I have it set for 30.
I don't but sometimes while I'm going through my tweets it stops for some seconds.Quote:

Seems pretty good on my end. I especially love that they finally added the option to switch multiple accounts since I'm on my BBOS and personal account all the time.
So apparently there are a few bugs (which might not affect every user but have affected a lot) with this new build which are being reported just in case:
So far I think those are the main ones. I like the new version a lot but some of these bugs are annoying...
- Notification of every new tweet regardless of the setting (refresh every 10, 20, 30 minutes).
- No mentions from people that you don't follow regardless of whether your options are enabled for "All Users."
- Going from a DM to someone's profile will prevent you from clicking any Twitter tabs (My Profile, timeline, mentions; etc).
- If you get a mention while you're in the app, the notification will not clear in the Messages app and wont notify you of new tweets till you manually open or delete it.
