BlackBerry Messenger v5.0.3.22 available in App World

In all the BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 hype this morning, many didn't see that BBM was updated to v5.0.3!

A few tweaks & updates are brought forth in this update, including:

Support for BlackBerry Bridge
Support for Hindi and Vietnamese
Simplified sending of pictures and voice notes
More user-friendly wording and organization in menus
Support for a simpler, one line view of contact list
Support for both deleting an unsent chat message (Shift-Del) and escaping out of a chat while retaining an unsent chat message (Escape button)

It doesn't include the new features of 6.0.0.73 .. it's just an update for BBM 5

bbm 6.0.0.73 .. dont even have much new feature it just seem faster tell me your findings

Honestly , I haven't used BBM 6 because I'm not a member in Beta zone ! But I heard that there are some new features such as : Colours feature , sending bigger files in size . That's what I heard :)

I have it on my storm os5. as for the color codes nope none of that an bigger file nope none of that also only change i see is its faster for respond time an switching between chats the smiley icon look bigger the chat box is a bit diffrent getting files to send reponse time is much faster so overal il just say its faster. The selecting of text isnt so good still have bugs... versiong 6.0.0.73

So you can try 5.0.3.22 & if you didn't like just go back to BBM 6 ;)

NO WAY ILL PASS.. DOWNLOADING 6 FROM BETA ZONE WAS HARD ENOUGH ..like 11 tries before it downloaded completly

Could have been the beta zone servers. I've had issues myself sometimes with very slow downloads from BZ.
