well ,there goes the biggest reason i bought a blackberry. shame

I feel if that is gonna happen .. Blackberry users will decrease !

This is going to have very little affect on RIMs market share or even its user base. Bottom line is, although that BBM is a great chat program its not the major deciding factor among the vast majority of blackberry users. Perhaps a major change in the OS or RIMS security model may have a bigger affect on peoples opinion. Just my two cents.

although they still lack variety the upcoming devices significantly reduces the gap between RIM and the competition. if the bbm releases after them i don't think any BB users will even care, they'll be too busy playing with their new toys

I think that the next set of devices coming in 2012 will come equipped with a front camera and bring BBM video chat to devices. It will be very much like the iOS Facetime app, which is a huge success amongst iPhone users. BBM video chat would be great!
