Thread: bbm cannot retore groups

hi please help i just updated the firem ware in my 9700, all works fine. but when i restored the bbm using dm, only contacts are restored, bbm groups donot get restored.

i tried deleting the bbm and reinstalling, but still bbm groups wont restore

please help

Did you just update from OS 5 to OS 6?

How long ago did you update, because I have heard that it may take up to 24 hours to get groups restored in connection to your PIN.

its been about 28 hrs now.....

If you were the one who initiated the group, they will restore immediately. I have found with os 5 that any group that I was invited to would not restore. Best thing to do would have someone invite you back to the group.

from past experience it is a flip of a coin if groups restore and all of them never restore. like joshjamie said, start asking people for reinvites. this is one of the main reason i dont update my OS unless its needed from now on, getting groups back is to much of a hassle
