Spelling choice popup on BBM ?

I was checking my settings because a friend asked how to get rid of auto correct and such. Now when I type or use BBM, I get a list of choices that pop up above the typing line. I've looked everywhere to shut it off, but cant seem to find whats causing it, or how to make it stop. I've look at all the normal places, but it keeps doing it. The only thing I changed, and then changed right back was the check spelling of email before sending, but I cancelled it back to where I had it previously. I'm running .517 by the way.

Honestly I have always had the list of choices above the line I figured that was a default setting? If their is a way to change it I am kinda curious as well. I will ask the team and see if someone can come up with a more definitive answer for you. Keep an eye out on this thread.

go to options > Language adn Text Input > Show Text Input Options > here you can enable/disable predictive input....

So does anybody have anything to suggest? Ive looked at all the settings, and they are all where they should be for me not to be having the predictive options pop up while I type, but for some strange reason, they all of the sudden started and I cant get them to stop.

Mule have you tried the steps Ealvnv mentioned?

Yep, already checked that. Its wierd because all I did was check the check spelling of email before sending, then I unchecked it. Now im getting spelling and word suggestions on BBM's that I type, as well as texts and any other thing I type. Ive gone through every place that has input or typing settings, and cant figure out why its doing it. I even pulled the battery a couple of times, no luck. Now I'm even noticing that I have to hit the enter button twice before it will send a BBM. Never has done that either
