Help please :( Cannot Find BlackBerry Messenger Icon
Hi everyone,
Im gettin really frustrated now because i have searched EVERYWHERE for the blackberry messenger icon and i cant find it anywhere! Ive uninstalled, reinstalled, checked everywhere. Ive done my research on the internet and yet i still cant find the icon! I dont have an instant messenger folder either?
I hope someone can help me out with this i would really appreciate it!!

Hi Orio thanks for the replying!
Yep ive checked all folders, hidden included! When i go to Advanced Options < Applications
It does say that it is installed but i just cant find it anywhere!
Any more options to try Orio??

Have you clicked "show all" and THEN checked every folder, app screen, etc....

Also...check to make sure your Instant Messenger" folder isn't hidden.

What OS are you running ? ...go to options > about.

You are running a pretty old OS...depending on your carrier, there are newer ones available...(see our download tab top of page). I would think you would have an instant messaging folder, and would try to download a free theme..(see our theme forum), and see if an instant messaging folder appears, and if BBM is inside. I will put in a "help request" for you to see if any of the other Staff here has any other ideas...try what I suggested, if you want, and keep an eye on this thread as others should respond.

The consensus is you need to update your OS to run BBM 5.0
check this out first...http://www.blackberryos.com/forums/b...es-videos.html
Then check out DOWNLOAD tab at the top of the page..got to your specific device, and carrier, and download new OS.
READ and understand the tutorial...and follow the steps,( don't skip any) and you should be fine.
