Thread: New version of BBM 5.0.0.65 leaked in the latest 9630 OS leak.

Today has been pretty hectic day with OS leaks. We have new Leaks for the Bold 9700, Tour 9630, and the Curve 8520. I was glancing through the new files of the Tour 9630 Leak 5.0.0.571 and found that BBM has been updated to 5.0.0.65. What does this mean for us ? Could this have something to do with that ad we say a little while back having to do with some new features added to BBM. Does this mean that there will be an Official update coming soon for everyone ? Just remember this is a leak not an official OS Update.

There is now a separate "Ignored Contacts" menu entry.

has anyone noticed in the 5.0 BBM it wont send their location to BBM friends?

I have had many instances of screen freeze with this version, as said before, install at your own risk.
I might have to uninstall this as I can not handle having to reboot every time I want to text or check my email.
Hoping this will improve with time, but i doubt it.

It's working great on my 9550. Seems quicker for me. I have 3 groups that experienced a lot of lag before but barely any now. Been using it all afternoon into tonight.

I've not seen any differences neither just seems little faster. btw where's that ignored contact menu option. I don't see that anywhere

Oh Boy BBM .66 with the new leaked .591 for the 9630. I wonder how many more of these we will see until we see the Official release from RIM.

So will this BBM version be compatible with 9700 or other devices...?

I have it loaded on my Storm 2 with no problems. Can't see much difference yet, but we will see.

Can anyone help me out. I am done waiting for an OTA for .66 so I am trying to create a JAD using BBSAK. However after I create the JAD and copy the JAD file and the 15 COD files to my memory card so I can just install that way I get an Invalid 907 COD error??

I did OTA from there. Worked. Infact, the only way I could get it to load.

Thanks... but that is for BBM .65 I want the new BBM .66 that was released with the new tour OS

Oops, guess I didn't catch the difference...lol Well then. Anyone got the COD's for 66? That was the only place I could find the new BBM.

The CODS are in the new Tour OS I just don't know what I am missing. I tried using the Same 15 CODS that are found in the BBM .65 leak

What else is interesting is BBTweeps has .66 as 2.4MB and Nathanix has it as 2.8MB
