BBM spam on Haiti donations?

While checking Google for related news, I found many posts about berry users receiving BBM spam on Haiti donations just recently. It seems to be always the same message on BBM. It claims, that 35 cents would be donated by passing this message to your friends. But most obviously, it is more likely that you spam their BBM, only. Are you a victim as well? I would not recommend to respond or pass this message, if you really want to help, there are surely better ways! Just as a reminder, also BlackberryOS has set up several options for you.
