Thread: bbm contacts deleting on their own?

hey guys, my bbm is messing up...

on my list, like half the people keep deleting themselves..what I mean is...

once person I speak to on a daily basis...i'll be chatting no problem...then for a good hour or even few hours, she won't receive any messages, no "D" or "R" beside it, jsut a checkmark...then eventually it'll give me a notice saying something along the lines of "this contact is not in your list, would you like to re-invite contact?"

and does this every day...i tried deleting my list and restoring, deleting the one contact and re-adding fully, deleting bbm and reinstalling...same thing...

anyone having this issue? it's not for all my contacts..just some...but the same people...

which os and which BBM version do you have?

This is not normal. Try upgrading your OS or if there is no upgrade try a downgrade. Also what BBM are you using, that could be the reason as well.

Never heard of that either.. Maybe a BBM reinstall could solve the problem.. What i dont know, is do contacts delete from list when that contact delets you from their list?

I've encountered this as well.. Also, one of my BBM contacts added me again and told me that I deleted him. As far as I can remember, I haven't deleted a single person on my contact list, ever! I feel bad because he might think I deleted him on purpose T.T

I had this problem alllll the time with 5.0.419 then I went back to .230 and it hasn't happened since :P

Agreed, try a reinstall.

This does seem to be a build issue, I was having all sorts of problems with updates on BBM avatars and status messages with .419, with .464 it hasn't been happening at all.

Try an upgrade (if available) or a downgrade if upgrade isn't available, as TheOnlyJrod has said...My one friend had this problem sometime ago and downgrading the OS solved it out. I think it may solve your problem too.
