Thread: BBM deleting itself?

I don't know if anyone else has had this happen today, but my BBM deleted itself on a battery pull and I had to reinstall it (thank g-bus I had a backup with all my contacts in it...) My friend Mike had it happen and that's what alerted me to this. Is there some insidious plot to shut down BBM?
Does anyone know what is behind this anomaly? :crazy:

Were you using BBM 5.0.8 by chance?

Where in western NY are you? My g/f is from fairport, near Rochester.

this happened to me too actually, I just reinstalled it and it hasn't happened since. weird.

I am half way between rochester and niagara falls

Fairport is about 30 min away

Do you have App World installed? On my Storm BBM went missing a few times after updating App World and when deleting or updating an app that was installed via App World.

I have had issues with installing BBM from App World and therefore choose not to install it from there.

Same exact thing happened to me. No idea why.

haha! Judi talks about going to the falls on the Canadian side to party after hours. Seems the Canadians don't close the bars until 3am or something like that. Fun times, we might be heading out that way this coming summer. Her brother lives there still.

Definately a nice area out here. If you like to fish bring your pole. There are alot of great spots to fish in the area.
