    BBM 5.0 restore feature is working again.


    If looks as if the long weekend without avatars and everything else that goes along with BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 has ended. A few minutes ago, I received a message regarding my registered email address, and if I'd like to restore my contact list! Ummm, of course? Are you also receiving this message? Is your contact list coming back before your very eyes?

    I haven't had a problem with the restore issue my boyfriend has with his new storm2. However I can not send or receive any BBM's at all. I called Verizon and they claim they don't know of any outage except this has been going on since about Sunday night off and on till Monday night now it just doesnt work at all. Anyone else having this problem?

    There have been issues with BBM since Friday night. Has he tried to uninstall/reinstall BBM? If not I would recommend uninstalling and pulling the battery, then reinstalling. See if that helps.

    I'm also on the Storm 2 and haven't had any issues sending or receiving BBM's.

    can you get internet and email??? You may want to call and make sure the pin on your BIS account has been changed

    Everything was working fine except for bbm. I had to delete everyone and manualy readd my contacts and everything is fine now.
