did you run the installer for the os? the screen shot shows the os installer.

Also, are you positive you have a 9530?

Hi!My problem is a bit more complicated. I have a bb 8520 that shut down by itself but it never starts again, so the screen stays always black, with the red flashing light blinking 5 times continuously. So I can never get apploader to recognize it, nor does bbsak.I installed a new os a few days ago, that might have caused this. Any suggestions? Waiting for your reply.p.s. this is the os: 8520wifijAllLang_PBr5.0.0_rel1831_PL5.2.0.111_A5.0 .0.1106_AXIS_Indonesia

This is most likely a battery problem. First, plug the device into the wall charger, not a usb port on your computer. Leave it plugged in for several hours. If this doesn't work, try a different battery. If it still refuses to boot, we will need to delve deeper into the realm of BlackBerry resurrection. Let us know how it goes.

If your pc is showing your devices pin, then everything is fine. You can continue with the steps at any time.

It's recommended to wipe the device because it will flush out any of the previous OS. It's possible to do without, but not recommended for devices prior to OS 7.
