Here is another suggestion.
Pull the battery
Plug the usb into the device
Plug into your PC
Launch JLcmdr
Go to option 4 (wipe device)
Follow on screen instructions and wipe
This may take a few times before it actually recognizes the device but it will get ya back.
Keep us posted we will continue to try and get you running
so far nothing
while charging samething red light flashing
tried the jlcmd and nothing
You can try a force load through the DM, Pull the battery from the device, plug in the USB cable (Do Not Put The Battery Back In). Launch the DM, go to apploader and see if it will install. It may take a few minutes or a couple of trys since the battery is not in the device
nothing
'ok when i was trying jlcmd
a screen flashed right away on my comp
all i got to read was a error
it was a quick blink of the screen

Not to bump an old thread but I nuked my 8350i while trying to install the new 5.0 OS that come out.
I keep getting a "Device Communication Error" A:0x0000000F message.
It seems like the phone turns off during the software install.
Good battery, tried it on 2 different computers.
Thank you, that is a great way to fix nuke.
I dit it with some device with that way, but not for all.
it's meant if the error area is hardware as the same u will not make it.
But thank you for the tutorial today. :hail:

thank you so much for this, my 9530 went completely dead on me in the middle of listening to music, i called my provider, which is tmobile and since it's a flashed phone they didn't know what to do and suggested i bought a new phone, but i love my 9530. thanks to you my storm is up and running perfectly! i'm going to favorite this page in case it ever happens again![]()
Hi...i nuked by 9700, while following the process mentioned above...when i plug in the cable into the usb port..the app loader does not give the PIN unknown option but straight away displays the pin....any suggestions ?
So when you plug in your phone via usb on the apploader screen.. instead of it saying "unknown pin" it actually displays your pin correct? If so, thats ok press next quickly so the JVM will run. It sometimes takes several attempts at the process to get it to work.. Once took me 10 times to finally get it work... Let us know if you get it and good luck.
tried the restoring but when reached to that usb pin its not unkown, it actually shows my pin... hows that?
please help..
