no worries, just thought i would bring it your attention, its my fave guide online, i can upgrade/downgrade without it but like ot have it as a back up !

if you want to go back follow the instructions here, but use Desktop manager to install the OS that says preferred.Quote:

Unfortunately restoring my applications did not work :aargh4: Does any one have a hint or an alternative how to get my apps back?

i downloaded BBSAK v1.5 as suggested and did what I had to like back ups etc.
When i went to reinstal the apps I got confused then noticed v1.7 was out there. i downloaded it and it doesnt see my previous backup which is still there.

Nothing seems to be going wrong (touch wood) and the battery on my storm seems to be lasting better than it did before.

My friend has a BB CURVE 8320, quite new but she wants it unlocked.
Will these same steps work?
