    yes i am device switch wizard.click on it my device shows i leave other device blank. then i uncheck everything but 3rd party apps and hit next. i then recieve a window that pops up in dm that says " a fatal error has occured please try again"

    Can you backup your device normally? As if you were doing a normal backup of device settings.

    I'm going to say that you have a 3rd party app that may be corrupt. As it stands, your PC is interfacing correctly. The DM can see your device and has the ability to find a store information from your device. The issue seems to stem from the app side of things and my feeling is that you now have an app that is inhibiting the backup.

    so my next step is deleting apps one at a time till i can back them up ?

    my quick pull is not working right so i may get lucky.

    Hey tevansny, I'll be helping out MePascal as he has to go run some errands.

    If I were in your position, I would start by deleting applications that are of least importance to me, and any problematic apps. So yes, you could start off by removing quick pull.
