Thread: Iphone Ghost Typing on Storm OS 5.0.0.140!

Well guys if you like the IPhone ghost typing now you have it on your beloved Storm. Its pretty neat and a great step up from the previous keyboard typing pop up. To set it up here's what you have to do. First install os 5.0. next go to options/screen and keyboard. Scroll down to the very bottom and you will see (Key Ghosting Options).
Here are the options

• Inline,Focus BG
• Inline,no BG, gray
• Inline,no BG, blue
• Over-line,centered
• Over-line, left-aligned
• Inline, frame

NOW READ THIS. WHEN YOU REBOOT YOUR PHONE YOU WILL HAVE TO RE INABLE THIS FEATURE. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT A WAT FOR IT TO SAVE AND NOT DISABLE. REMEMBER THIS IS A LEAKED BETA OS.

Thanks Randy I can't remember who mentioned it in the finding thread, but it made me wish I still had the storm to test it out on. That was a cool feature on the iphone. Thanks for posting it up for the members

Yeah but the problem I have is that my phone resets itself whenever i'm in BBM and using the Ghost function. I go there and type whenever I need to do a bp, its better than Quickpull.

I like it but I hate the resets.

Nope this is the unshrunk version, I have run it shrunk and unshrunk.

As a matter of fact I am going to start hacking this up today...as soon as I finish working on Lovely 3.0 for the 8900 and Bold.

Just a word of wisdom I got from some peoples.....if you shrink, leave the Voice Notes Recorder and Set up Wizard, as the OS needs those .cods to run smoother. (less lag)

yeah when i shrunk it my media player wouldnt work and my meory option wouldnt show

I know from our previous conversations that you love the 5.0 O.S. I think i'm going to do a complete wipe but I want all of the goodies to work perfectly.....Why am I addicted to leaks....

I am going to reinstall, clean wipe and install, see if that helps with my problems.

Yeah do that I showed olta and she has been hooked. Lol it cleans some things out that are corrupt when updating a os.

Go to options security options and general settings if your on 4.7 and wipe. If your on 5.0 its a onboard wipe which wipes all contacts and applications. Basicallg back yo factory. Like when you first bought it.

Okay that is what I thought but I don't do this when I perform a JL wipe, I don't think both are necessary.

I do a bbsak or jl wipe, load the os, THEN do security wipe. This way, the security wipe gets rid of corrupt traces of OS. After all that, I restore.
