This is something that BBC experimented with and found that wiping apps like JL do not fully remove everything from the phone. However, when doing a JL wipe in conjunction with a security wipe no traces of previous OS's were visible.

My phone keeps doing this no matter how I type.... its makin me mad

I was reading some material on the new iphone...they have a feature so if you lose your phone, you can call your mobile number, type is a password, and wipe your phone so no one can get access to your information. Any app for that with RIM?
