I tried crakuti and it does not show the files. I am running .113 right now (awaiting v3.5) i did see them in the common files directory. Dono

Yeah, doesn't show up on crackutil either. Not a big deal though, after batt pull I have almost 60MB of free app memory. Also running "Memory Eye" app ...awesome app, check it out if you haven't. Definitely a must have, for all of us memory nazi's out there!

60mb that's really impressive. Do you have any 3rd party apps on your phone?

He means install the OS to your PC (in order to do the steps to gain the memory) then once those are done you can install to the phone

I would not suggest using crackutil with any 5.0 OS. It has bricked before. :(

Crack Util is easier IMHO..I do have a question however. If I dont use Gmail, could I delete the gmail files. Also setup wizard is a big file as well. If I keep Bt setup, email setings, Manage connections, in the Setup folder, and just delete "Setup wizard", would I gain the memory that the setup wizards cods are taken up on my phone? I hope am making sense here:confused:

Also if you want to delete that many items, I think you would be better off with shrink a OS or use bbsak to delete certain cods. :)

Has anyone tried removing the following similarly named files?

net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_04_t.co d
net_rim_bb_medialoader_360x480_04_t.cod

The first one for me is 3,134kb ...

Anyone know what they do?

So i would do delete these cods using my phone directly? Is the gmail app for email in general or does it pertain to "Gmail" users directly. Can you also let me know if I should delete setup wizard.. I see that the "setup wizard is in the "Setup" folder and wanted to be sure that deleting "setup wizard" does not delete the other setup apps like BT, email settings, and manage conections ..again, hope I make sense here..
