I just noticed and was informed by Morganizer that RIM is now pushing Avatars. So everyone using BBM 5.0 get your pictures put into Messenger.

Very good info. If you go to Recent Updates you'll see what he is talking about. It saids Display picture updated.

yeah i noticed that my contacts were able to update their pictures.......like kris' dog

And yes from what I have gathered due to the leak of 5.0 the servers are getting overloaded with several million users testing it out

Try this way everyone, no matter if you did it yesterday do it again

edit your info and place an avatar, if you had one, click on change avatar and put the same image, once saved it will go trough

you need to change your avatar, change your status and then pull your battery.

this is another way to do it
