So...Looks like we've narrowed it down to a couple of possibilities randy. Your OS is being stored on the device memory as well as all your 3rd party apps. I not sure if the hybrid is causing the issue because of the fact that other members are not posting issues about not being able to backup. I'm kind of leaning towards a 3rd party app, possibly a theme maybe. Anyhow...let's see if you can skip that data string and select everything else but device memory. If you can save all the other data then you have really narrowed it down. Try this and let us know....Thanks..

At least you are on the right track....If you continue to try a save a group of data at a time, you will eventually find what is hanging you up.

i tryed to transfer options and on board it just froze up my dm

onboard device memory is hanging up. can i just clear it?

Skip over it randy...Just select everything above and below it...It will take you two different save processes. The first save process will save everything above it. The second save process you can have everything below save to the same folder as you first save process.

i got it to work cleared device memory. something in it is bad

Glad to here it randy.....I still think it's one of your apps......Something corrupted in a app. Maybe didn't happen upon installation but over time an app may have gotten corrupted.

Yes it is its up to 60 right at the moment. But I lost all my device pictures. Can I just go to a older back up and switch device memory

You can try to restore from the backup/restore tab through DM. Give it a shot....The restore option will ask you which .ipd folder you want to load. You will need to find an older backup than the one you saved today.

so i have realized that i have yet to back up my tour since i got it so i decided to backup this morning and cant at:

it errors out at "file explorer options"

ive cleared the browser cache on DM and on the phone and even cleared the file explorer options in DM with no luck.

can someone tell me what i am missing? its too early to think :lmao:

do you have the dm leak? what os on your phone?

I'm getting the following error when backing up:

Error Backing up databases (s).
[Sounds} 0 of 31 entries retreved
[Theme Settings] 0 of 1 Entires

opera and stock browers both clear.

Any suggestions?

Mind you nothing is wrong with the back up. Got the error and the past and used the back up with out issue. My phone is also on a BES so most everything is backed up with that.
