Maybe I just suck at searching on here, but I keep deleting the Sample pictures, yet there they are after I install the shrunken OS....and as of right now I don't even have the Storm activated yet. Its the 'new' (refurbished) one that I just got via FedEx today after my 2nd storm started going bad....couldn't convince them to up me to the Storm2.

Could anyone post a link in reply to this if I've missed the thread where it says you can't remove the pictures AT ALL even through Shrink a OS? If not, no worries, I'll keep searching, but if so, thanks alot as well.

You cannot remove the sample pics as of yet on the new 5.0 OS. Normally you would use Shrink A OS, Filescout, filemanager pro but none of these programs work to remove them yet.

Thanks a lot for the post. Used it on 5.0.0.238 & 314 & 348. Ultimately went back to 238 each time bc of the reboots! Always go down from 82mb to about 55mb! Great program!

Dont know if I see the "Setu wizard feature "checked" w/all the removals..The box that displays the message covers up pertinant info that am interested in..Is it possible to move that box to the empty white area so I can see all the "checked" options"? Spectacular job otherwise..I am always hesitant to do this cuz not sure what I can or cannot shrink..When I did do it I messed it up

will try and restore the Pics as soon as possible.

At first it wouldn't take my c:\programfiles(x86)\common files~~~ folder. Then I found out to point it to users\Roaming~~~. It states that it has 5.27 MB free, and even if I remove or add everything, it stays the same. What am I missing? I opened it as admin, and my BB is plugged in. I've tried having BBDM running or not. It's getting to the point where I almost don't even want to carry my phone anymore because it's crashing daily or running out of room. :aargh4: Please help?

I have a Storm 2 with Verizon and I am interested in installing the hybrd OS and I se the instructions about shrinking na dI think I understand them but I do not know anything about swapping radio. What is that all about and should I do something with it?

for the time being I would leave the radio at default. Lyricidal has a nice explanation on all of the functions, along with a link to download the program. See below
