Thread: problem with installing a theme

I downloaded a theme from a website and extracted the zip file I got 2 files .jad and .cod
I opened the .jad It showed a screen to with download button I clicked it and it's supposed that the theme is downloaded but when I open the themes I can't find it !!
Can any one help me ? -_-

So I do remember something like this happened to me before, where I downloaded a theme, but I could not find it. It was something related to security permissions. See if you can find it there, and allow the permissions for the theme.

What device are you using? What OS are you running? What device is the theme compatible with?

I'm guessing that you have installed a theme that is compatible for another device. Which is why it will install, but not show up. Or, if you are running OS 7.1 and the theme may only be compatible for OS 7. Another possibility.

sorry i'm a new member so didn't know about editing my profile and adding my device and OS version
I'm using cur e 9360 7.1 "latest version" and the theme when i downloaded it ,, it was written compatible with OS 7
i don't think that there is a deference between OS 7.0 and OS 7.1 as in themes site the categories are OS7 , OS6 and so on
I tried re-installing the theme with editing all the permissions to be allowed but didn't make and deference still can't find it to be able to choose it

The OS version from 7.0 to 7.1 are different (just that we dont necessarily see it). If there is a theme you like that is OS7.1 compatible with the 9360 (as you stated), then can you try that out and see if it works?
