Yeah I did. I have noticed that opera had frozen on me twice now though

Try this J, Highlight Opera Mini/Press Menu Key/Edit Permissions/Set All To Allow/Menu Key/Save, then reboot the device.
Looks like it is going to have to do with the BlackBerry controlled APIs and code signatures..

Great idea Cruz I has forgotten I did that a long time ago trying out different options.

So then I guess the hack mentioned in the OP is causing this issue? Because up until I try changing the features in the config menu I was able to bypass the annoying Opera pop-ups.

Apparently, from what I've read, the security permissions will have to be disabled, or all set to allow, rather than prompt.

Two permissions are defined for the Fileconnection API:

javax.microedition.io.Connector.file.read
javax.microedition.io.Connector.file.write

The read permission is used when a file is open in read mode or if an InputStream is opened from a FileConnection object.

The write permission is used to open files in write mode or if an OutputStream is opened from a FileConnection. It is also used when invoking other write operations like delete or rename.

If you are not granted the permission to access the restricted API, a SecurityException is thrown.

You know what I am not messing with this any further. Once I made the changes to opera to allow all, I tried resetting my phone with MB it gave me an uncaught exception, MB has been terminated error. I guess I will just live with those two pop ups with Opera.

Nothing integrates better with a BlackBerry, than a BlackBerry browser, its a game of "give and take".

Did battery pull and now everything seems to be working ok. Lesson learned don't mess with permissions on a 3rd party app, bad thing may happen.

Is there a way to make Opera load all the pictures? Most of the time it only loads a few pictures and the rest are blank boxes.

I wondered same thing cause have had it happen to me.

i usually set my image settings to low cause u get more picts to load up.
