Since your computer has already a back up, when you run the process again, it only pulls new apps. What you need to do is rename the previous back up and send it to .zip folder. Once you have the .zip, delete the previous back up (not the .zip) and then run the 3rd party app back up process again.

***This is an important step, and I believe should be added to the first post***

I'm using Vista to try to backup 3rd party apps and I can't, for the life of me, find the file. I tried the path that the 2nd post of thread said and it doesn't exist or me. The only thing I have under "C:/users" is a folder named "Public" and doesn't have the folders stated.

    Any help?

I am using DM 4.7 so i don't know if that plays a part. I'm not sure if there is an update or not. Everytime I plug my Storm in and load DM, it pops up with an update and I just cancel; should proceed w/ update?

Yes, in Vista i check the search all unindexed, hidden and system files. Do I need to delete my old 3rd party backup file from a couple months ago?

Date modified was March so i'll delete it. Also, the update that I see pop up when connecting my device, is that the VZW OS update or a DM update and should I proceed? I don't know how to tell the difference.

If you are still on .75 it is prompting you to update to the new official OS that was released a few days ago which is .148

i wouldnt proceed, its most likely the update for VZW i would open DM after you get this done with out device connected and see if it pops up again, if it does then its for DM not the phone

I'm actually on the .122 hybrid from you guys (v3 i think). I know .148 is the base for the V7 hybrid, should I just let DM update my phone? I'd rather follow the instructions that you guys laid out since I'm going w/ V7 but don't know if it matters
