Go to the "Options" setting of your BlackBerry's home menu.
Click on "Security Options" then click the "General Settings" line to open up the settings panel.
Click on the BlackBerry icon button to bring up a list of choices. Select the option to "Wipe Handheld."
Confirm that you want to delete the handheld in the box that appears.
Enter the word "BlackBerry" when prompted to then hit OK. This restores the BlackBerry OS.

Be very careful here...this is called a Security Wipe and will wipe all your 3rd party apps, and all your personal data and settings. I use this feature on occasion when doing an OS / hybrid upgrade, but only after I have backed up my data / settings, and all my 3rd party apps.

Not really...wipe with BBSAK completely wipes your phone...OS and all.
A security wipe will leave the OS on your phone but deletes personal data, settings, 3rd party apps, but keeps OS intact. If you were selling your phone, or sending it back for replacement, a security wipe is good. If you want to replace your OS, or install a new hybrid, then a BBSAK wipe is used.

Hi...
I have a Blackberry 9630 Tour of verizion we only clean off, a complaint we have now, there is no Web browser or MMS. Its unbarred to work upon T-Mobile, we can embrace calls as well as content can not be found upon a Web or call TMobile commotion tip, as well as they contend we need books which they have no service.
