Lost your charger? Get one free...
Hey, not that I am serious about this, but let's assume the following: Dunno why, but your charger's gone. Somehow, someday, somewhere. You've already blamed your colleagues, friends, partner, kids, even your poor ol' dog, but the fact remains, it's gone - the charger, not your buddy of course!
Well, what do you think, where could this happen all the time? Exactly, stressed business men and women are just doing it over and over again day by day. Forgetting their chargers, and - just in theory - we all could take advantage of it.
Imagine, just going to a hotel and checking it out. Phone chargers - especially those for BlackBerry - are THE #1 item to be left here. Rumours tell, that if this question is placed at the reception desk just results in an unquestioned bin full of chargers to be offered to you to choose your free replacement from.
Second best place one could imagine? Airports? Well, quite close, but guess again: Car rental counters. Just say you forgot your charger in the car the last time and again a box full of chargers to pick from will be pulled out immediately.
Think, I'm making this up? Well, it might be worth to remember this fiction, next time it happens to you...

Not fiction. I've used chargers at several hotels when I've neglected to pack mine. I always give it back but usually they're happy to let you keep it because they have so many.
Unbelievable, isn't it? How can it happen, that it is just this piece, everybody seems to forget? A toothbrush, a dirty shirt, but BB charges being no1? Are we BB users that careless?

I cringe at "low battery" warnings. I have a dock at home, car charger, usb chargers for home and work PC's, and carry an ac charger, and still I worry. Life ends with a dead battery right? Or is there life after Blackberry?
Personally, I'm a bit too methodical for that. I have one near my bed, one in my car, one on the computer, and one on my toolbox at work. Travel? Are you kidding? I work for a living...Who can afford to travel when they have a job? lol!
My last job was 90% travel and there was one time that I had left my charger in the hotel I was staying in. I wish I had thought of this then. I never went back to the one I had stayed in but I could of tried the next one...although at the time the phone I had was some crappy flip phone they had given us. I probably wouldn't had found a match for it anyway...lol
