Thread: RIM Adds Bejeweled As Part Of The Thank You Gift Offer

Did someone say free Free Friday? RIM has added Bejeweled to their list of complimentary apps. This is a fun little puzzle game developed by EA. Now you can spend countless hours strategically aligning gems. Sorry OS 7 users, it only works for OS 4.5 to 6.

I imagine they'll add OS 7 compatibility much like they did with Bubble Bash.

Gonna have to give this one a try. I grabbed that Bubble Bash when it came out but removed it a day later. #1 - and I coulda dealt with this but found it dumb all the same, the game was in 100% spanish. But the main reason I got rid of it was it was a MAJOR battery hog. Ate up my battery 3 times faster than normal.

LOL...tried to download it and it says it is unavailable for my device. Looks like 9700 is about the only device that isn't supported...lol

For OS 7 Bubble Bash is in English. Looks like the update to OS 7 is much better than for OS 6, ect.

RIM needs to hold these devs feet to the fire and make sure they have updated their apps before offering as part of the free premium apps.

Well, yeah. Especially if you're going to beat the band about how you're giving away free apps to make up for a HUGE screw up. Someone may have wanted to make sure the apps they were going to give away were compatible with every device. What a joke RIM has become.

RIM has now rolled out the next app available for free as part of their thank you gifts. You can head on into BlackBerry App World and search for Shazam Encore and download

Its like this Bejeweled is not available for everybody. I followed this link on my phone and its not available.

It's working perfectly with my 9780 and I'm enjoying it

Depending on how they set the resolutions. It could just be they didn't select in App World settings for compatibility on certain devices.

Shazam is working on my 9700.
