Mobigloo has just released a new game that they have been working on. If you are not familiar with Mobigloo, they are the creators of some of the highly addictive games such as Air Traffic Controller, Nintaii -- which I was extremely addicted to and now I can add Road Mania to the addiction list. The logic behind the game is to control the flow of traffic with out causing any crashes. It's like Air Traffic Controller but you are now dealing with vehicles. You can stop vehicles (by touching them) to let others go or speed them up(by flicking them) to move quicker. All while you are keeping an eye on other roads to assure every one is safe. As soon as you open the app you are brought to your main screen which I find to be pretty damn cool looking. You have the choice of starting a new game, going into the options (allowed to change sound prompt on/off, sound effects on/off and volume), stats and the about screen. After clicking the new game selection you are taken to your map selection. Unlike Air Traffic Controller where you had three scenarios to choose from, you actually have 9 to choose from.
You're sitting there thinking "this looks easy, I can beat this game.." You're wrong and you will quickly realize it. It starts off slow but as the time goes on the traffic becomes more dense and before you know it you have an accident. That's when you start thinking "one more time" and again you have an accident. Before you know it 2 hours has passed and you're still sitting in the same spot trying to control traffic.
As I just stated, it starts out easy for you. I don't have pictures of what it looks like when the traffic gets busier because..well..I always seem to create an accident. As you can see each lane does its own thing. Example, the left lanes will only turn left, cars in the middle lane will drive straight and the right lane will turn right. You are given notification of when a car is coming into view and which lane the car will be in. Not pictured in the above or in any others (I don't think) is a white arrow that will appear at the edge of the screen in the appropriate lane where a new car is about to come into view. This gives you a few seconds to start getting a plan going to make sure everything runs smoothly. But before you know it, you will end up causing a crash! Didn't see this one coming. Ya, I'll use that as my excuse, I did not see it.
Now that you crashed you are going to become addicted. It's inevitable so you mine as well not fight it. In fact while typing this up I've stopped twice to play the game again ha. Below are a few more screen caps as well as a video of the game created by the Mobigloo team.

In the last picture you can see the arrows I mentioned before about letting you know a car is about to come onto the screen. I'll end on this note...This is one of the top 3 games that I absolutely love. It's very addicting and kills time when you are bored or waiting for something. You really need to pick this up. HOWEVER, it is only available for the Storm (touchscreens). So for you Storm owners who wish to join in on my addiction you can get this game for $2.99 until Feb. 1st. After Feb 1st the price will be set at $4.99 and if you ask me, well worth it!
